T. Kilgore Splake (born Thomas Hugh Smith, December 8, 1937) is an American poet, photographer, and editor. Splake was born in, and still resides in Michigan. He attended Western Michigan University where he received his bachelors and masters degrees. He became a high school and college professor before an early retirement to become a writer.
